Scope of Application

DZ47S-125 Miniature Circuit Breaker (known as shunt trip MCB, 100 amp Circuit Breaker shunt trip). The shunt trip MCBis suitable for the control line of AC 50Hz or 60Hz, rated voltage 230V/400V, rated current of 125A and below, remote control and automatic signal breaking control for the line, is mainly used for over-load and short-circuit protection in circuits. And infrequent transfer between circuits in normal condition. Currently the shunt trip MCB is widely used in single-phase/ three-phase intelligent prepaid energy meter (such as IC card) to achieve the on-off of control lines. The series of products have high breaking capacity, small size, light weight, parts versatility, beautiful appearance, etc., it is mounted on the rail and easy to use.

Normal operating conditions and installation conditions

■ The ambient air temperature is -5 ℃ ~ +40 ℃, and the average temperature within 24h does not exceed +35 ℃.
■ Altitude of the installation site should not exceed 2000m.
■ Atmospheric relative humidity at ambient air temperature is + 40℃ for not more than 50%, in the low temperature can have higher relative humidity. Consider the temperature changes in product on the surface of the gel and take special measures.

Structural characteristics and working principle


The circuit breaker consists of DZ47-125 MCCB and signal-controlled release.
DZ47-125 MCCB mainly consists of the insulated shell, operating system, contact system, thermal magnetic systems and arc extinction systems and other components. Signal control release consists of the signal input port, signal voltage detection circuit, delay control circuit and the trip mechanism and so on. MCCB and the signal control release have linkages by the pushrod.

Circuit Breaker shunt trip features are as follows:
The operating mechanism of the circuit breaker is a freewheel trip mechanism with energy storage. The contact is quickly closed, which overcomes the adverse effect caused by the speed of manual operation, greatly increases the service life of the shunt trip MCB. In normal operation, the contact can only stay in the closed or disconnected position. Case and parts are made of plastic of high flame-retardant, high temperature, impact-resistant. Signal-controlled release consists of the SCR, electromagnetic release components and so on. High breaking capacity, up to 6kA.
Signal control Circuit Breaker shunt trip consists of the signal input port, signal processing systems and electromagnetic release components, to control remote signal through the external signal line.
Products have small size, light weight, modular, unique appearance. It uses effective space layout rationally .
Mounted on the standard rail, convenient and time-saving.

Working principle:

By the signal input port, the circuit breaker signal control release is added control voltage, witch is the signal voltage (which can be provided by the remote control circuit), and then push the breaker handle to the closed position, through the operating mechanism to make the moving contact operate to the static contact and contact with the static contact, then the line connected. When the line has overload fault, the overload current make bimetallic element bend, overload release action promotes the locking mechanism action to achieve breaking the line. When the line has short-circuit fault, the short-circuit current makes instantaneous release act, to promote the locking mechanism to achieve breaking function. When due to some need to immediately cut off the line, which can cut off control voltage by the remote control system, the signal voltage detects circuit and obtains the signal, then outputs the voltage signal to the trip coil to make the locking mechanism act and realize the breaking function. So the product in different line state can achieve the purpose of breaking.
