Scope of Application

DZ15LE Molded Case Circuit Breaker (pump protector, 40A/100A Circuit Breaker), for circuits of AC 50Hz, rated voltage of 220V or 380V, rated current of 100A, for protecting residual current, pump protector can also prevent the fire hazard caused by ground fault current from the damaged device insulation. And pump protector can provide protection of overload and short-circuit in the circuits and infrequent conversion of the circuits, transparent case residual current operated circuit breaker derived from the series, its cover is made of polycarbonate material with new type, high temperature resistant and high strength. It can judge on or off of the contact state directly.
DZ15LE LV Circuit Breaker (pump protector, 40A/100A Circuit Breaker) meets the standards: GB14048.2, IEC60947-20.

Model and meaning

Note*: Type-A N pole is not equipped with overcurrent trip element, and is always connected to N pole, not with the other three together on-off(be conventional products, A can be omitted); Type-B N pole is not installed with overcurrent trip element, and N pole is on or off with the other three together.

Normal operating conditions and installation conditions

■ The altitude of the installation site is not more than 2000m
■ Ambient air temperature: -5℃~40℃, and average temperature in 24h is below +35℃.
■ The air relative humidity in the highest temperature + 40℃ for not more than 50%; In the low temperature can have higher relative humidity. The maximum average relative humidity is 90%, while the average monthly minimum temperature is +25℃, and consider the temperature changes in product on the surface of the gel.
■ DZ15 pump protector is installed in the place without impact vibration and invasion of rain and snow, the upper terminal connects with the power side, the lower terminal connects with the load side, and the inclination of the vertical plane is not more than 5°.
■ Installation category: Ⅲ.
■ Pollution degree: 3.
■ The external magnetic field in the vicinity of the installation site does not exceed 5 times the geomagnetic field in any direction.

Structure and working principle

This series residual current operated circuit breakers are electronic residual current operated circuit breakers, mainly consists of the zero-sequence current transformer, electronic control leakage release and circuit breaker with overload and short-circuit protection.
Working principle: When there is residual current in the protected circuit, as long as the residual current reaches the operating current value, the secondary winding of the zero-sequence transformer outputs a signal, and makes the residual current operated circuit breaker act by the leakage release, thus cutting off the power supply to provide protection of residual current and electric shock . Schematic diagram shown in Figure 1.
When there is overload or short-circuit in the protected circuit, the hydraulic release complete the time delay or instantaneous tripping action to make the residual current operated circuit breaker operate, thus cutting off the power supply to provide protection of overload or short-circuit.
