  • Scope of Application

    TXCPSD Automatic Transfer Switch (hereinafter referred to as TXCPSD switch, also known as generator automatic transfer switch) is mainly used for the two power supply (normal power and standby power, normal power and generation power) power supply system of AC rated frequency 50Hz (or 60Hz), rated voltage to 690V, rated current from 0.4A to 125A, there are automatic or manual conversion between power supplies when overvoltage, undervoltage, open phase, power-lossing occur in one of power supplies, to ensure reliability and security of the post-stage circuit.
    The instantaneous conversion characteristics of generator automatic transfer switch’s application contactors is used for emergency power supply, in the power conversion from grid to grid, it can achieve power-off switching time of min 50ms, to improve power supply stability. According to the needs, CB CPSS switch with overload, over-current, short circuit, three-phase unbalance and other current protection function can be selected and equipped.

    Normal working conditions

    ● Ambient air temperature: -10℃~+40℃, average is not more than +35℃ within 24h.
    ● Altitude: The altitude of installation site is not more than 2000m.
    ● Atmospheric conditions: the relative humidity of the atmosphere in the surrounding maximum temperature of +40℃ is not more than 50%, at a lower temperature can have a high humidity. The minimum average monthly temperature is +20℃, the max average monthly relative humidity is 90%. Special measures should be taken for the gel that generates on the surface due to temperature changes.
    ● Protection class: IP20, anti finger touch function.
    ● Pollution Degree: Class 3.
    ● Installation category: The installation category is related to the rated operating voltage. The installation category is Ⅳ in the main circuit 380V system. In the main circuit system of 690V, installation category with auxiliary circuit and control circuit is Ⅲ, alarm circuit installation category is Ⅱ.

    5.2 Features of TXCPSD switch:

    TXCPSD switch(generator automatic transfer switch) composes of the normal power supply side (TXCPSDN) and standby power supply side (TXCPSDR), to ensure the stability of the switch by the mechanical interlock and electrical interlock. TXCPSD switch (generator automatic transfer switch) controls them by the internal intelligent controller, with function of normal power three-phase detection at the same time, standby power three-phase detection at the same time, voltage loss, overvoltage, undervoltage and open-phase are detected by detecting the power supply voltage, to achieve TXCPSD switch function conversion of automatic change and automatic recovery, automatic change and manual recovery, automatic change and non automatic recovery, manual change and automatic recovery, manual change and non automatic recovery, manual change and manual recovery.
