  • Scope of Application

    CJX1 AC Contactor (like Siemens 3TF40, 3TF41, 3TF42, 3TF43, 3TF44, 3TF45, 3TF46, 3TF47, 3TF48, 3TF49, 3TF50, 3TF51, 3TF52, 3TF53, 3TF54 and others) is the latest products in the 1990s. CJX1 AC contactor is used for AC 50Hz or 60Hz, rated insulation voltage of 690-1000V, the rated operating current is 9A-400A when rated operating voltage is 380V in the utilization category of AC-3 AC3. Mainly used for remote making and breaking circuit. It is suitable for starting, stopping and reversing of control AC motor, CJX1 AC contactor meets standards of IEC947, VDE0660, GB14048 and so on.

    Model and meaning

    Normal operating conditions and installation conditions

    3.1 Ambient air temperature: -5℃~+40℃, the average does not exceed +35℃ within 24 hours.
    3.2 Altitude: not more than 2000m.
    3.3 Atmospheric conditions: the maximum temperature is +40℃, the relative humidity is not more than 50%; at lower temperatures can allow a higher relative humidity, for example, +20℃ up to 90%, special measures should be taken for condensation produced occasionally due to temperature changes.
    3.4 Pollution level: 3.
    3.5 Installation category: Ⅲ.
    3.6 Shock Vibration: The product should be installed and used in the place without significant shaking, shock and vibration.

    Structural features

    CJX1 AC contactor has the direct-acting movement mechanism of the double-break contact, with three pairs of normally open main contact, auxiliary contact combinations in the table below. CJX1 contactor contact support and armature use elastic lock and coupling, to eliminate the weak link. Flexible action mechanism, manual inspection convenient, compact structure design, to prevent foreign debris and dust falling into the active parts, terminals have cover, hands can not directly contact with live parts. CJX1 contactor has compact size, small installation area. It can be installed with rails, can also be fastened with screws, compared with other similar products, its operating frequency and control capacity are higher. Safety and reliability of product is good, which is the international advanced models of contactors.

    4.1 Good safety performance, conductive parts are not exposed;

    4.3 Arc chute is closed type, arcing distance is short, can reduce the size of electrical box;
    4.4 The main contact system has unique structure, contact wear is small, electrical life is extended;

    4.6 High operating frequency and control capacity;
    4.7 CJX1-F <3TF30-35> series AC contactor can plus auxiliary contact block;
    4.8 CJX1 AC contactor wiring is convenient, reliable, high contact reliability, medium vibration resistance, good safety protection.

    Operation and maintenance of CJX1 AC contactor

    5.1 Check items in operation:
      5.1.1 Whether the load current passed is within the contactor rating;
      5.1.2 Whether the contact signal of the contactor indicates whether it is in accordance with the circuit status.
      5.1.3 Whether the running sound is normal, whether it makes a discharge sound due to poor contact;
      5.1.4 Whether electromagnetic coil has overheating phenomenon, whether the short circuit ring of electromagnet is abnormal.
      5.1.5 Whether the arc chute is loose and damaged;
      5.1.6 Whether auxiliary contact has burning situation;
      5.1.7 Whether the transmission part is damaged;
      5.1.8 Whether surrounding operating environment has adverse factors, such as too large vibratio, poor ventilation, too much dust and so on.
    5.2 In the maintenance of electrical equipment, contactor should be maintained.
      5.2.1 External Maintenance:
        A. Cleaning external dust;
        B. Whether Check the fasteners are loose, especially the conductor connection parts, to prevent loose contact and heat;
      5.2.2 Contact system maintenance:
        A. Check whether the position of moving and static contacts are right, whether the three phases are closed at the same time, if there are problems, adjust the contact spring;
        B. Check wear degree of the contact, the wear depth can not more than 1mm, contacts have burned, when open welding and fall-off, it is necessary to replace in time; When slightly burned, it does not generally affect the use. When clean the contacts, do not use sandpaper, should use plastic file;
        C. Measuring insulation resistancebetween the phase, resistance is not less than 10MΩ;
        D. Check whether the auxiliary contact action is flexible, contact stroke should meet the specified value, check whether the contacts are loose and fall off, when finding the problem, it should be repaired or replaced.
      5.2.3 Partial maintenance of core:
        A. Clean the dust, especially the interface between moving parts and the core;
        B. Check the fastening of the core, loosening of the core will increase operating noise;
        C. If short-circuit ring of core has fall-off or fracture, it should be promptly repaired.
      5.2.4 Electromagnetic coil maintenance:
        A. Measuring coil insulation resistance;
        B. Whether the coil insulation has discoloration and aging, coil surface temperature should not exceed 65℃;
        C. Check the connection of coil lead, if open welding, burning, it should be promptly repaired.
      5.2.5 Partial maintenance of arc chute:
        A. Check whether the arc chute is damaged;
        B. Whether the position of arc chute is loose and change;
        C. Clear the gap of metal particles and debris within the arc chute.

    Contact system of CJX1 AC contactor:

    The main and auxiliary contact materials are made of silver alloy with superior electrical properties, which have long service life and good contact reliability. Arc extinguishing chamber was closed, and the flame retardant materials prevent the arc from splashing outward, Ie ≤ 22A no arc flash barrier, Ie ≥ 32A with metal flash barrier, to ensure safety of personal and electrical appliances. Wiring screws is new self-liter screws, tile-shaped pad and screw does not separate, which can save wiring time.

    Magnetic system of CJX1 AC contactor:

    The electromagnetic system is reliable, low loss, low noise, has high mechanical strength, terminal of wire drawing is fitted with voltage specification tag, voltage level on the tag has a specific color, clear and eye-catching, easy wiring, can avoid the coil burnt caused by the wrong voltage.

    Contactor installation position:

    The contactor must be mounted on the vertical surface of the position shown in the figure.
